James J. Horgan, J.D.
James J. Horgan, Esq. is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1995 and the Rhode Island Bar in 2001. He is admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit in 1997.
Mr. Horgan received his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Merrimack College and his J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School. He was a Phi Delta Phi member while at Suffolk University Law School.
Mr. Horgan is a lecturer for the Lorman Education Services, National Business Institute and Institute for Paralegal Education. In connection with his lectures, Mr. Horgan authored Paralegal Litigation Skills: Managing Civil Discovery, Institute for Paralegal Education, 2008; Discovery Skills for Legal Staff, Lorman Education Services, 2003; Nursing Law Update, National Business Institute, 2002; and Analyzing Medical Records for the Massachusetts Paralegal, Institute for Paralegal Education, 2001.
Mr. Horgan's areas of practice include employment law, medical malpractice defense, general civil litigation and real estate matters.
